Heat Pad Policy

Our FloBabe Heat Pads are designed to provide comforting warmth, but proper use is essential. Please read the complete instructions and warnings before use. For all warnings, please refer to the packaging.
Instructions
- Open the plastic wrapper when ready to use.
- Place the heat pad inside the inner pocket with the cotton fabric side facing outwards and the contents facing towards the abdomen area.
- Align the heat pad in position and ensure the opening slip is secured properly.
- Wait for 5 minutes for warmth to activate. It may take up to 10-15 minutes for the heat pad to fully start heating.
- Short use only: Wear for 10-15 minutes at a time.
- Remove the heat pad after 10 minutes of use, check skin, and allow 45-60 minutes cool-down before reuse.
- For maximum effectiveness, wear the heat pad as needed and, if necessary, remove it to avoid overheating.
Burn Hazard
- Allow repeated short sessions throughout the day.
- Always wear an undergarment with our product(s) to prevent burning.
- Never continuously direct use for hours to avoid burns/overheating.
- Let the heat pad cool completely and dispose of it in the household trash.
- For expired or unused heat pads, carefully open the packaging and expose the contents to oxygen before discarding them in the trash. This step prevents accidental activation.
- Once the heat pad is confirmed to be deactivated and no longer generates heat, place it in the trash can for disposal.
- Store the product in room temperature.
- To reduce the risk of burns, fire, and personal injury, this product must be used in accordance with the warnings and the instructions.
Warnings
- Ensure that the heat pad is placed correctly inside the built-in inner pocket. Use only with the built-in pocket.
- Make sure that the built-in inner pocket is closed correctly when in use.
- Do not place extra pressure or the heat pad directly on the skin.
- Avoid all skin contact and ensure the heat pad is always inside the inner pocket. Do not use without the pocket.
- Check skin frequently during use, this product has the potential to cause skin irritation or burns. If you find irritation or a burn, remove product immediately. Do not place on bare skin.
- If you are 55 years of age or older, do not put the heat pad directly against your skin, as your risk for burns increase with age.
- Keep out of direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- This product can cause burns. Remove heat pad if there is any pain.
- When using this product, check skin frequently for signs of irritation, burns or blistering - if found, stop use immediately.
- It is normal to experience slight skin redness after removing the pad.
- If your skin is still red after a few hours, stop using heat pad until the redness goes away.
- If product feels too hot, stop use. Take out the product frequently.
- The heat pad contains iron that can be harmful if ingested. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and call a poison control center immediately.
- If heat pad contents come in contact with your skin or eyes, rinse with water immediately. Do not open or ingest the contents of the heat pad.
- To avoid the risk of fire, do not microwave or attempt to re-heat.
- This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Do Not Use
- If your doctor does not recommend this product for you or your condition in any case.
- If the heat pad is damaged or torn; with medicated lotions, creams or ointments; on broken or sensitive skin; if you are bedridden or prone to skin ulcers; on areas of bruising or swelling that has occurred within 48 hours.
- If you're not capable of placing and removing the pad by yourself.
- On infants and some elderly; on children 12 and under ; on areas of the body where heat cannot be felt.
- With other forms of heat including electric heat.
- Do not microwave to heat this product or attempt to re-heat.
- Do not use this product while sleeping.
- Do not use heat pads in the same location for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
- Burn hazard: Do not use if the pad feels hot through the pocket. Prolonged use may cause burns even at low temperatures.
- For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
Ask Doctor Before Use
- If you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, nerve damage, pregnant, breastfeeding, or other conditions.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience any discomfort, burning, swelling, rash or other changes in your skin that persist where the heat pad is worn. If after 7 days your pain gets worse or remains unchanged, as this may be a sign of a more serious condition.
